Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Nini Shermadini discovered her passion for music at the early age of three. By fifteen, she had already graduated from a prestigious pre-conservatory vocal school and made a breakthrough on national television through School of Nutsa, where she won the hearts of thousands. Her rise to prominence continued with victories in major musical competitions, including Two Stars, and she became a co-winner of X Factor Greece. She was also a New Wave 2005 finalist, earning the Sympathy of Judges award.
Beyond her musical achievements, Nini has graced the stage as a special guest on Dancing with the Stars, performed at Miss Model of the World in China, and hosted The Wave of Hope, a top-rated TV show in Georgia from 2006 to 2008. In 2012, she moved to the United States to further her artistic career, studying at Nola Studios on Broadway and releasing her original music. She was also cast as the lead actress in Decades of Divas, directed by Academy Award-winning songwriter Franke Previte and playwright Mark Medoff.

Nini Tsiklauri is a prominent figure in Georgian pop music, known for her exceptional talent and contributions to the music industry both in Georgia and internationally. With a career spanning over three decades, Nini’s journey began in the 1990s when she became a soloist at the Youth Palace of Georgia. Her remarkable voice and artistry quickly gained recognition, leading her to perform at numerous high-profile government events, including receptions for NATO members and international diplomats.
Nini’s career is marked by a series of significant achievements. In 2001, she won the First Prize and Special Award at the Children’s International Festival in Turkey. She later pursued her passion for music and acting at Sh. Molorava Musical College. In 2004, Nini rose to fame as the winner of Georgia’s first music TV project, “Nutsa’s Skola,” which was followed by her victory at the “Golden Note” contest for Georgian professional singers in 2005. Her success continued with her triumph in the popular musical competition “Georgian Pop Idol” in 2007, solidifying her status as a leading artist in the Georgian pop scene.
In 2015, Nini’s versatility shone through when she won the international music project “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” earning a brand new car and a cash prize. Her acting talents were also showcased in the hit Georgian film “Maita Nasosi 2,” where she played the leading role.
